Product Description

Sodium Petroleum Sulphonate is neutralized by sodium hydroxide. This is widely used as a surface-active agent, emulsification & dispersion of liquids, inhibition of rust & corrosion, dispersion & wetting of solids, and so on. In a liquid system, sulphonates aid in the formation of an emulsion by keeping oil and water apart so that they can co-exist and form. Sodium Petroleum Sulphonate is used in various concentrations by weight in various industrial and metalworking applications. It is effective as dry printing ink, cleaning solvent, and oil well-drilling fluid.
